We currently collect and process the following information:

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  • You have requested to be added to the email list to receive communications
  • You follow HaywoodWrites on WordPress
  • You are enquiring about services and/or products offered by Pippa Haywood of Haywood Writes
  • You leave a comment on HaywoodWrites

We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:

  • We use WordPress and other plug-ins which store analytical data to keep track of and improve performance. This data does not include personal identifiers.

We use the information that you have given us in order to provide a service to you as a customer and to monitor and improve our performance.

How we store your personal information

Your information is securely stored on password protected hardware and/or encrypted software. Any printed items used during the writing and editing stages will be shredded upon contract completion.

We keep projects and project notes for 5 years or until our business arrangement ceases. It will then be deleted permanently unless it has been requested/previously agreed that we use your project for marketing purposes.

We keep the subscription and analytical data indefinitely until the website and/or business HaywoodWrites ceases operation or until you withdraw your consent. We will then dispose of it by permanently deleting it.

Your right of access – You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.

Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
